Name: Bill Purkett Nursing Scholarship
Criteria: Awarded to a Sophomore Nursing student. The student must maintain a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate
financial need.
Name: Ed Molitor Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: Awarded to one full-time continuing student majoring in Nursing.
Name: Hazel Sharp Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: Awarded to a full-time student enrolled in the Nursing program with at least a 2.5
GPA.
Name: Helen Kiesling Endowed Scholarship
Criteria: Awarded to a Nursing student.
Name: Helen Patrick Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: Recipient must be a Nursing student with a GPA of 2.25 with financial need. Want
students who plan to stay/work in Hill County for 2 years after graduating.
Name: Janet Walters Memorial Nursing Scholarship
Criteria: Recipient is based on financial need and scholastic ability (above average student).
Name: Justin S. French Endowed Nursing Scholarship
Criteria: Recipient must be MSUN student enrolled in their 2nd year or more of the Nursing
program. Preference to student who exemplify an empathetic demeanor for caring for
patients.
Name: Ralph Dunham Presidential Nursing Scholarship
Criteria: Recipient must be a Nursing student.
Name: Rose Marie McCann Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: Awarded to a student that meets the following criteria: Continuing student studying
Nursing, with preference to Junior or Senior. GPA of 3.0 or greater. Recipient must
be a high school graduate from the Hi-Line, with first preference to schools between
Havre and Chester. Recipient must have Financial Need.
Name: Russell Surean Memorial Nursing Scholarship
Criteria: Recipient is based on financial need and scholastic ability (above-average student).
Name: Sleeter Brenna Nursing Scholarship
Criteria: Awarded to a non-traditional nursing student enrolled in the MSU-N Nursing program,
carrying a minimum 2.5 GPA. Selection will be based upon financial need.
