Media & Reprographics

There many self-serve copiers located around campus. These copiers use an "all card" which can be purchased at the Business Services office.

High Speed Copying

Our full-service high speed duplicator can produce large copy orders, single or double sided, stapled, collated with or without tabs and covers, saving you time and money. And we offer a wide selection of papers.

Color Copying

Make your next project/presentation a knockout with beautiful color documentation and displays.

According to color expert Jan V. White's book "Color for Impact", readers:

Perceive color presentations and printed publication 60% better than black and white.
Reduce visual search time by up to 80% with color coding.
Increase attention span up to 82% longer when viewing color. * Understand presentations 70% better when color is used to highlight the pertinent details.

Oversize Copying

We can print your 11x17 posters in color or black & white.

Comb Binding

Comb binding allows books to lay flat, and allows users to mix and match paper stocks. Pages can be added or removed as desired, making plastic comb binding suitable for extended-use applications.

Laminating

Laminating is the process of sealing paper items in plastic - we offer heated lamination for items up to 36" wide.

Layout and Design

We can provide helpful suggestions on copy layout and design.

Tape Duplication

Applicable copyright laws will be strictly enforced. Permission letters from copyright holders will be required for all duplicating orders that are not clearly "fair use".

MRC staff can copy non-copyrighted VHS tapes.
Audio and video cassette copying is available to faculty/staff or MRC staff can copy tapes.

Delivery & Set Up and Projection Services

Currently there is no charge for delivery and set up, however departments will be charged to replace damaged or stolen equipment.
Video taping of classes with the assistance of a student operator can be arranged.

METNet

The Montana Educational Telecommunications NETwork (METNET) Interactive Video System consists of a number of locations having two-way interactive compressed digital video facilities. METNET is available for use by state agencies, higher education, K-12 schools, and approved nonprofit corporations where usage qualifies under state statute.

Northern's METNet room is located in Hagener Science Center Room 202.
