Northern Showcase Concert Association has ceased operation effective April 30, 2014. The Board of Directors could not find enough able and willing people to run the association for ensuing years. With the deficit accruing and lack of volunteers, we could no longer continue to offer live entertainment. However, NSCA can be resurrected at any time if indeed enough people are able and willing to do the appropriate work. Former members would be happy to guide any new volunteers.
Fortunately, Havre still has live entertainment possibilities: MSUN has a lively Chancellor’s Lecture Series and the Student Activities concerts, The Montana Actors Theatre brings a full season of plays, and Havre Public Schools has wonderful choir, band, and theatre offerings.
In addition, quality live entertainment akin to what NSCA offered is only an hour away in Ft. Benton. Please see the information below about the 2014-2015 Chouteau County Performing Arts Series. Now through October 24th, they are offering a season pass for $40 for 8 shows (which is a fantastic bargain!).
