Dr. Tiffany Vickers is a dynamic and strategic leader in higher education with expertise in curriculum development, accreditation, workforce alignment, and student success initiatives. She is committed to fostering equity, innovation, and excellence in healthcare education, ensuring that students graduate prepared to meet the demands of the evolving healthcare industry.
As Dean of the College of Health Sciences at Montana State University-Northern, Dr. Vickers leads initiatives to strengthen academic programs, expand faculty development, secure external funding, and enhance student engagement. She has successfully spearheaded curriculum alignment efforts to ensure relevance to workforce needs, and is working with faculty to launch innovative programs such as EMT training, disaster simulations, and K-12 healthcare career pathways along the Hi-Line.
Prior to her role at MSU-Northern, Dr. Vickers served as Assistant Professor and Program Director for Population Health at Utah Tech University and Associate Director of the Master of Healthcare Administration Program at the University of Utah. Her leadership has resulted in program growth, increased enrollment, faculty mentorship initiatives, and student-centered curricular enhancements.
She is deeply engaged in community and professional leadership, holding roles such as

- Board Member, Utah Telehealth Network (UTEN)
- Executive Board Member, Utah Women in Leadership Project
- Advisory Board Member, Master of Healthcare Administration Program, University of Utah
Her research interests include healthcare workforce development, maternal self-efficacy among caregivers of children with special needs, and strategies to improve healthcare access in rural and indigenous communities.
Dr. Vickers is also the steering committee chair of the Montana LeadHership Annual Women’s Conference, an initiative dedicated to empowering women through leadership development. She actively advocates for student retention strategies, mentorship for first-generation students, and faculty-driven innovation in education.
