Continuing MSUN Student Scholarships: Industrial Technology
Name: Associates of the Montana Contractors Association Scholarship
Criteria: Recipient must be enrolled in a program and have completed sophomore year. Good academic
background, good citizenship and character. Interest in a career in construction and
industry. Preference to those majoring in industrial technology and business technology.
Must be full time. If chosen student does not maintain a 2.5 GPA, the award is to
be retained or re-awarded.
Name: Beckman Engineering Scholarship
Criteria: Awarded to a student in Technology, with preference to Construction Technology or
Surveying Option.
Name: Davey Endowed Scholarship
Criteria: Awarded to a student enrolled in Welding or Metals Technology courses.
Name: George K. and Minnie H. Myrhaugen Endowed Scholarship
Criteria: Awarded to pre-engineering students enrolled at Northern in an architectural, mechanical,
electrical or construction pre-engineering program.
Name: Karen and Duane Taylor Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: Awarded to a sophomore majoring in manufacturing technology. Based upon financial
need, GPA of 2.0, and non smokers are preferred.
Name: Kevin Yeagar Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: Awarded to a student majoring in Pre-Engineering, Electronics, Mech Tech, Drafting,
or Construction with at least a 2.5 GPA.
